Have you tried contacting the Indiana Audubon society? If you don't get any responses from this forum, you may have better luck there.

thanks Kristen but you already sent me that link on another post. I was just hoping to hear from an individual who had seen one in person in Indy.

Oops, I forgot about sending that. I remembered the W PA site, but forgot I'd sent the Indiana one. I still think if you get no responses here, you should contact the Indiana Audubon. They can probably get you in touch with the very individuals who saw those Rufous Hummingbirds.
