As a new hummingbird addict, I am still learning about these great little guys. I was wondering where you have seen nests. I have two juvenile males and a female who are here daily. My daughter also found what I am now sure was a cracked hummingbird egg on the grass earlier this spring : ( . Does that mean there was a nest nearby? Do they prefer certain trees, a certain height, exposure, etc? Thanks! It has been fun reading this site and especially looking at everyone's great pictures.
