WOW!!! I'd love to have a feeder that large being emptied out by hummies daily!!!

Alas, I have had to resort to 'tiny' feeders that hold 12ml of liquid because of the south Texas heat and humidity. Anything left in a feeder for more than a day quickly spoils and forms bacteria :o(

I make my own feeders...but maybe you can find a large wine bottle that will fit into your feeder base or some type of bottle with a mouth that fits it?

I have some feeder bases that I can screw on any size of bottle that has a mouth the size of a regular water bottle. Depending on the hummie activity I've used 6 ounce water bottles all the way up to 2 liter soda bottles.

ps...if you don't have problems with insects maybe you can use one of those dog watering bowls that holds an inverted 1, 3 or 5 gallon jug?

Guess you could put broadcloth mesh or a screen over the bowl part to keep hummies from falling in?

I think Frank bought up the 96 oz feeders along time ago.

Better get the 72 oz if you can.

Someone made hummer feeders out of water cooler
jugs once. I saw it in a birding magazine.
It was some guy who has hundreds of hummers.

I have several feeders around the house and our family nursery, not to mention the various plants from fields of Agastache to Salvia to feed them. Yet they aseem to drain everyday. Its a tedious but a rewarding task. I have took up the inventor in me and devised big feeder. I have taken a plastic soda liter bottle, and added for spare feeder parts. Surprisingly, I must refill every two days. Its amazing. On a regular day, I have about 14 hummers around, while on traffic days, I have counted over 30 hummers, both Rufous, Anna's and even some Rubythroats.
