'You lookin' at me?'

I was watching the owner of the feeder on my front porch from behind the windows this afternoon. Pretty soon he came right over to the window and checked me out thoroughly. I have screens on the outside so I don't think there was any danger of him/her bumping his head. He was really close. I wonder if he can see the TV in the den from that window. the flashing colors might attract him.

There has been a lot of dueling today with 3 or 4.

I've about given up trying to getmore photos.

Minnie - I do swear that they can see quite a bit of detail through the window. Mine often show up and position themselves high enough to look up and over the plants near my window (I have passifloras and a stephanotis there) in order to check inside first, before zipping over to the feeder.

I actually confirmed that I have at least 3 now as of yesterday evening. I happened to glance over to the feeder to see two facing off, eventually zooming away in a chase while a 3rd enjoyed a meal! Talk about being ecstatic!!!

Mine look in my windows, too. If I'm standing by the door looking out, they come right up and check me out, too! Its quite an experience to be checked out by a hummer...sometimes I think they're the ones doing the watching.
