Notice the heavy feeding right now

Im sure all of you that have a lot hummers are noticing the heavy feeding going on right now. I have two window feeders out and they start at about 6:30am and just like clockwork quit just before 9:00pm and as the days get shorter the time they quit will be sooner. But it seems to me the last 3 or 4 days they have been even more active. Does anyone agree or have you noticed other things. I know that the males leave first , but I still have males, how about you.

I've noticed it. I can't seem to keep enough nectar out there. Time span sounds about right, too.

Me also making more sugar water as I type. Change it every couple days. Have 2 hummzinger feeders. They are fighting over feeder.Have lots of males yet

Yes my males seem to be a little more interested in feeding than fighting , gearing up for migration

Still have the males here too, although mine will perch if an adult, but I find the young ones are the nervous ones that don't land.
Does anyone have more then one hummer at a feeder at one time? I keep seeing pictures where a slew of them are all hovering and eating on one feeder, but that never happens at my place!! :)

same here , only one at a time...but I did see one actually sit on perch that was a first.usually they just buzz and drink.
