Glucose and fructose

Just of curiosity, I heard that flower nectar is mostly sucrose but it has fructose and glucose as well in it. Why is it we only use sucrose. I heard honey has glucose and fructose but that it spoils. Is there just no safe way to duplicate this or?

Right. Sugar is the closest we can come to nectar. Honey is very dangerous for the birds. Read the FAQ under this heading.
