I'm not in San Antonio, but all of my birds should be passing thru somewhere between you and the Gulf from up here in s. Arkansas. My numbers are still holding steady at 8-15 daily with 15-30 early and late evening. I think some are already headed that way.

If we are talking rubythroated they are on the move south[migration] and I also am still having 8-15 daily so Im guessing you will see more moving thru your area.

With temps falling into the 70s this coming week more hummers may tend to move on out during this coming week.

I did see a female Tues and two males at once today. It is still 97 degrees here, so am still not certain why the drop in numbers. At least I know there are still a few...

Up here in Redding Cal we have summer temps up to 117 and the hummers have no problem . Our 3 hot months usually run 95 to the high hundreds . I go through 20 ponds of sugar in about 6 weeks.
