This week there are so many hummers in my yard we can't count them. My wife thinks they are going to take out one of her eyes. I have never seen so many at one time! I love watching them fight to protect a feeder, but with so many it is almost impossible. When they get tired some will sit near each other on a powerline or branch until round two starts. I almost think they do it just for fun. We added 1 more feeder this week which brings the total up to 5 I never thought I would have more than 2 or 3 hummers this year. I guess I did something right!
