There is a little female that seems to stick around my garden a lot in late August, September. This is a regular, yearly occurrence.

I saw her 3 times today, she's been a regular for about 10 days now.

I think she comes here for a late nest, some years, I see her chasing around with a juvenile before she heads off south. Which is sometimes into the early days of October.

I'm in Quebec.

No feeders; she comes for the butterfly bushes, the salvia coccinea, the trumpet vine and the red dahlias.

Still having hummers pass thru my yard but my main highlight is I still have an adult male which has been with me for about 4 days now. He is fat and content Im just surprised hes still here protecting my backyard only.

Had 3 hummers here most of the day here in indy. So far have had hummers every day during migration. We shall see what tomorrow brings.

sept 28th still 4 or 5 hummers here today.

I just saw one at the feeder this morning (Nov 1, 2011) in Mt. Airy, MD!!!!

That's impressive, docwade. It's getting pretty chilly at night by now isn't it?
