I'm in Georgia. Not sure how to tell but I must have a lot of males b/c of all the fighting going on amongst my feeders.

Anyone knows when the migrators come through Georgia? I'm planning on keeping my feeders up until late fall to be sure.

We still have lots of hummingbirds. We just bought a lot more salvia 'black and blue' and they are grateful!

We had to rescue one out of the garage the other day. She got in while we had the doors open to garden. My husband held the tip of a kayak paddle up to her and she perched on it and he lowered her out the doors! We've had to do this kind of thing before.
