Anyone know who makes this single port feeder?

I was just browsing photos on pbase and came across these photos. It looks similar to the Perky Pet basket feeder that I have, which drips and is hard to clean with the yellow cage. The photos linked below sort of look like it could be designed like the PP 209 feeder in that the bottle could be lower than the port opening and therefore will not drip. Of course it could just be an opening at the bottom of the liquid and may drip too.

If someone could identify the feeder I would love to find out if it is dripless.

I buy them at Wal-Mart and the only thing on them says:

"Mini Hummingbird Feeder, Model H137B, Made in China"

Yes, for me I have found them to be dripless if they are screwed on tightly. One thing though is that bees seem to love them too. They are good for times when we aren't having lots of hummers feeding at the same time.

Thanks ltcollins 1949! That is it.

I looked the model number up on the web and they don't look like what I thought they would be. :c( I thought that perhaps there was a little reservoir of fluid below the port due to the throat of the bottle being lower than the hole. Looks like it is just like the pp hanging pot feeder. :c(

It appears it is made by perky pet, I have several of those and they do drip and they do attract bees. The yellow cages can be taken off for cleaning. No getting around the drip on those.

Wow Steve. Mine never have dripped unless they aren't screwed on tightly and/or the wind really blows hard. Otherwise, I don't have problems with dripping, but the bees love them. I fill some of them up and hang them out in the yard to attract the bees away from the feeders closer to my house. It has been working this fall.

They really missed the mark with this feeder in my opinion. With the screw in base and lip of the bottle they really could have put the hole 1/8 of an inch above the lip of the bottle, thus making it impossible to drip as the port would be in an air chamber. Seems that it could have been just as easy to make. Too bad.

If you fill the bottle all the way to the top it doesn't drip. I also hang mine at a slight angle with the help of a piece of florist or copper wire to hold it stationary and that helps also.

I love these feeders- I had them in my deck planters all summer, and then I found them sold as a two pack at Lowe's-the set included hooks to put them in your planters (hahaha!!!). I bought them anyway b/c I haven't seen them in Walmart since I bought them a few years ago- they are THE most popular feeders with my Hummers, second to the leaky Perky Pet pinch waist feeders.
