I've seen Hummers share a port like that, albeit briefly.

But I've never seen so many Hummers sitting together! Great photo!

ctnchpr--- Yes very cute pic. I actually had a similar thing happen on one of my window feeders which has only two ports but three hummers feeding, amazing they shared the one ports for several dips each till one of them had had enough of that nonsense.

By the way still have a good crop of hummers and at least two males today 9/11/07

ctnchpr,that's amazing. I just started this hobby the end of june and had one day with two males and one female at my one feeder. Now I have two feeders within feet of each other and one in a nearby tree. I'm only seeing one at a time now and no males but hoping that migration changes things. My neighbors and wife think I'm crazy until they see them. You can tell their extatic but trying to hold it inside. Thanks for sharing.

that would make my day to see something like that...I've gotten excited when I saw 3 at once...and I saw 3 another time, but that's it....not again...only one at a time...but there are usually 3 or 4 doing constant fly by's jockeying for a seat on one of the 2 that are out on my patio and deck.....

I wonder since I"m in the south, if they will be around longer? anyone know?

My swarm seems to get larger each day! I'm mixing so
much sugar water that I feel like a short-order cook.

ctnchpr-- I know the feeling on the sugar and Im sure you even more so. I know that this year over last year my sugar need and use has at least doubled.

Im not seeing the big groups anymore no more than 10-12 and today only saw 1 adult male and only briefly--9/12/07

I'm lucky if two will even let each other in the neighborhood!!
