There has probably been too little work done on decaploids for there to be a commercial variety available. I'm interested in strawberries, but haven't looked into decaploids before.

The Germplasm Repository in Corvallis doesn't list anything as "decaploid" or "vescana", but there are 3 accessions listed as "fragotentilla", a fragaria-potentilla hybrid. It is listed among the fragaria.

If you want Fragaria x vescana instead of the F. chiloensis - Potentilla hybrid you might check other gene banks. Canada has two accessions of F. vescana available. Naturally, it is more complicated. You have to provide them with an Import Permit with your application. Their accessions are originally from Sweden.

Thanks for your help mistercross. I was able to find a few accessions from the Germplasm Repository in Corvallis, and I found out that I don't need an Import Permit to import strawberries from Canada.
