I am in zone 6b Indiana and I am going to put some Muscadine up close to the Barn so it can block from the North. I have wild muscadines on my farm so What do I have to loose? Will plant some this spring.

I'd be interested in getting some seeds of a good wild Muscadine plant from Tennessee. I have a couple plants growing here in Western WA and they came from wild seeds in Arkansas. Am interested in vines that ripen really early 'for the species, and have good fruit quality. Cuttings do not seem to work wth muscadines.

I have some seeds for purple and bronze muscadines. We call them scuppernongs...

Have read that you can make a sucessful cross of Muscadine to Vitis Rupestris, if you use the Muscadine as a pollen parent. Most crosses from Muscadine to true vitis have problems with sterility or failure.
