Hi,

I have a few questions on hybridizing tomatoes and peppers. First, are the hybrid seeds you get from a catalog more likely to produce a higher percentage of seeds that will be near the same as the original? Are the seeds from catalogs F1 hybrids or F2+ hybrids?? About how many years would it take to get a strain that is almost or completely true from seed?
