I have to be gone a week and was wondering what the thoughts might be on, changing out the feeders now, leaving them up all week, or just emptying them?

Would the risk (getting old nectar) outweigh the benefit (having the food source available)

I have not seen any hummers here for over a week :(

although our temps are still in the 80's during the day and 60 plus at night?

why would this be?
