Chubby is a good adjective for my girl too. I haven't seen her since this morning....hoping for sightings tomorrow......southwest VA. Our night temps are going into the 30s Sunday and Monday so I'll be surprised if she stays around.

I thought I hit my personal record with September 23rd, but last night I was out surveying the damage from the wind/rain storm and I noticed a chubby little girl as well. She was hitting the Orange Noah morning glories. As much as I hate that plant and it invasiveness, I always change my mind when I see the hummers at it. It's nice to see that there's still activity up top; it gives us in the lower states some hope ;)

They are both here still today (Oct 2ND). The rain has not made them go south. One is quite a bit plumper then the other. The bigger chases the other out of the yard.

No sighting today....I am not taking my feeders down, hoping for more migrates to stop by here in southwest VA. Hard to say goodbye......

Have one female RT at feeder today. 11 am.

Milford, Mi here. The last day I say my girl was Tuesday, Sept. 28th. She was very plump and it was around 7 pm and she was still hitting on the black and blues in the rain. Haven't seen her since. I miss them already.

I saw 2 yesterday on the honeysuckle vine, and one this morning at 7am. I also saw one later in the morning on the black and blue salvia.

Sept. 27th was my last sighting in 08. Last year it was 9/17. Was surprised to see a chubby girl on a feeder this morning. This is my latest in 6 years.

Today, Oct 4th, in southwest VA no sightings since Friday morning. It has been quite cold here and warming up for the weekend. I am leaving my feeders full of fresh nectar just in case a migrating hummer might happen by...........counting the days till April 2011 :-))
