PH and impatien seed?

Can anyone out there tell me if PH can cause uneven germination with hybrid varieties of impatiens? Super Elfins seem to be less affected than Accents and Balance varieties.The PH of the soil runs between 7& 7.5 . If it's not PH any ideas? Thanks in advance!
