Hydroponic Kits

I am looking for a relatively large-sized high quality hydro-kit for indoor growing. I have no intetest in a "homebuilt" system and am in search of a commercial quality system. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with systems of this type?

Click on that icon on the right hand column of this forum where it says "Merchants' Bazaar." There, search on "hydroponics" and you will find several dealers. I've done a small amount of business with one of them, Worm's Way, and they were fine.

Click on "My Page" and see the one I built, simple and not too expensive, and very durable, also can be easily scaled up in size.

Hi, I am new to this forum and fairly new to hydroponics. However, I have a pretty good foundationn as far as the basics go. I have been working with a guy at my local garden center. He has about 15 years in retail hydroponics. He has been showing me the ropes as far as systems go. I am with you as far as the home made systems they are time consuming and not very attractive. I am putting together my own hydro farm and rainforest because the prices are outrageous (and I have done the research!!). I did order online a NFT 25 plant wall system for &189, made by American Hydroponics. I am told that this is an excellent system and the price was right. I am sure you have your system already but if you are in the market for another check out there site listed below. The item I bought is about 1/2 way down the page on the hydroponics/growing systems page. They will also match any online price.
    Hope this helps...Happy Gardening

having designed and constructed about 15 different home made hydroponic systems (several of my own 100% original design) this is absolutly false. some are ugly if they were built for functionality instead of looks but whoever told you that they have to be ugly was sadly misinformed. several of my systems are just as attractive as store bought and at 1/10th of the price.

Commercial quality systems are made of the same stuff as homebuilt systems and do precisely the same thing.

If you have any building ability on the erector-set level and can read directions, you will build a better system than you can buy and the quality will be the same.

I am real fond of the Jet Gro Series from American Agritech. I feel that they are by far the most professional and well built systems out there. You want something that looks nice, is easy to clean and is made with quality parts. Alot of pre-made systems are pre made in a shoddy way.

Do you know what kind of system you want? An NFT? Aeroponic? Drip? Ebb & Flow?

Don't blame me, it is the company's name for its product. Everyone I know who has one says they named it correctly.

Here's what I've used. I like it a lot. You can move the individual pots around, add more pots to a line and grow bigger size plants. http://www.hydroponics.net/i/273048

    Greetings...

I am really fond of the Areoflow2. It works really well, and easy to manage. Hydroponicstore.com carries this system and it's well priced for sure.
