Its interesting that zombensis survived for you it doesn't for me. There are many other Impatiens that can survive for you. I am working on several interesting species. One of my favs is arguta. Check out Annies Annuals, Cistus Nursery and Plantdelights has one. BTW my tinctoria is flowering right now. Oh I would also recommend gomphophylla, looks something like a 'Congo Cockatoo' and flanaganeae.
