I think what you may have is from mites or over fertilization. Over feeding can lead to disfigured leaves. This may be the case if you have treated for bugs. Virus can't transmit by seed very easily and if it came from a nursery breeding company, I would highly doubt it. They would be closed down if that were the case. If they are virused it could have been from a plant near by and a bug went from it to your Impatiens. I would do what you can in trying to save the plants. It looks like this series has been discontinued.

I have been reading on the internet about the INSV and that really got me to worrying about my impatiens and several other kinds of flowers that I have.
A person could really get paranoid.
My African Orchids don't look good, but they don't have the rings, etc described and pictured in the articles.
I cannot imagine how one would every get rid of that virus if it appeared in ones flower collections.
There is an African violet forum that I have been reading and a few people there are having a terrible time with the virus. Makes one wonder how widespread this virus is.
Am going to do a good inspection of all my plants.
