My balfourii are blooming nicely as well. Towards the end of summer is when they start dieing off on me. I can get temps into the 100s but its a dry heat. Sometimes I will get a few that survive in sheltered areas of the garden, some will even go through winter but die in spring. My glandulifera don't seem to like my heat much at all and I have trouble growing them at my current location. In cool shade they were much happier.
