I picked this plant out of generic bedding plants in Spring. It only had a few areas of mixed-up yellow blotching, but after another couple months some stems started settling into regular variegation patterns. This is the brightest one, which I've cut off to root on its own. The flower color is that bright, almost fluorescent orange seen in bedding plants, with a white star. Most were picked off for the photo to show the leaves. The flower color is off in the picture anyway.

Other branches settled into a more subtle pattern, I'll save some of that too.

When the variegation was still settling into layers and looked mosaic, I thought it might be a virus, and tried transmitting it to a couple other isolated plants. It didn't work, so I think it's a chimeral mutation. It definitely looks like that now.
