Last year, when my cosmos where at their best, I was invaded! I had thousands of bright green bugs on the blossoms.There'd be 5 or 6 on each bloom. They ate them all back to a riddled, ugly mess. They were also on the roses. I haven't been able to find a picture of them. They came within a day of the feilds being sprayed around me. I think they came from there. I never have had them before. I don't think they were beetles.And they weren't stink bugs. If I get them this year, I will look a little closer and determine what family they are from. I just hope they don't come back.I can't figure out how to manage the problem when I don't know what they are. They were about an eighth of an inch long and maybe half of that wide. Solid lime green. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
