I bought my BB two years ago at a local nursery. When I bought it was kinda yellow but it was cheap and otherwise looked good. After planting it I applied some Chelated Iron Plus as per instructions from Luis and it reacted well and has been green ever since. Last year I noticed that it was smaller than my ES which is also two years old. This year it seems even smaller and like it is struggling. To make matters worse darling hubby decided to transplant it about two weeks ago. He says that the ES had lots of roots and that he was able to transplant the ES with most of the dirt. With the BB he lost most of the dirt and describes the roots as just being a main long one that was curvy with very few little roots branching of the main one. Should I pull her out and just buy a new one or does she have a chance? I hate to waste space in my bed for a poor performer (five blooms a year vs twenty or so on ES) but I also hate to yank her and toss her when she seems to be a survivor. Am I being dumb? Here are some pics:

Also, does the ES look a little yellow to you? It looks greener in the bed but in the picture it seems a bit yellowish. Thanks!
