The great broccoli stage has begun! I have a mislabeled Nikko Blue -that is actually a lacecap- blooming now but all the other mac's are in the broccoli stage. I am guessing that a few buds will fully open at any time. Enjoy.

Hmm, mine are super tiny. I saw them only because I was looking for them. How long does it take from now for it to start blooming?

2 weeks maybe? (I am guessing)

I have just a few qt-sized clusters most are dime & pea sizes so far! My Lacecaps are more advanced.

Will perhaps depend on sun & warmth of the coming days ahead. We had a bit of a set back here w/ a week of March-like near freezing nights & quite cold/windy & rainy/stormy days ... typical May days are ahead!!!

That would be nice, My parents are coming into town in two weeks and my mom would love them. Thanks!

My Blushing Bride is blooming - just one or two flowers so far. Also Lady in Red is about to bloom. Yay!

Both es and bb are now opening their first blooms with many more comming--Lady in red is right behind as is twist and shout.....
