This season I will have three 5-gallon buckets and three 14-gallon containers for hydroponics growing (all DWC). One bucket and one container sit about five feet below the air-pumps. I've been adding 2 or 4-outlet pumps as more containers are added, but don't think 3-5 separate pumps is the way to go. What's better, three 4-outlet pumps or one large commercial pump with the air lines split up among the various buckets, that has a larger than 1/4" outlet? Also, what are good pumps for this application besides hydrofarm and ecoplus?

It would be nice if the pumps would be quiet, since this is outside on an apartment balcony.
