Any of those areas sounds suitable.....as long as the reach of the Leyland's root system does not interfere. I love lacecaps - much prefer them to most of the mopheads simply for delicacy of flower and often more complex coloring.

Here's a few good blues:
Blue Bird
Blue Billow
Blue Wave
Nightingale
Blaumeise
Lilacina

And a few whites:
Lanarth White
Amagi-amacha
Veitchii

and kind of a cross between a lacecap and a mophead - 'Hanabi', aka Shooting Star, Fireworks, Fuji Waterfall (take your pick!!)

And if you really have some room, consider Hydrangea aspera. Gets to be a BIG, robust plant with fuzzy leaves and absolutely enchanting lacecap flowers that are most often both pink AND blue.

Twist and Shout makes a good blue here and is very hardy and will re-bloom.

You also have the option of bi-color (color with hints of white) and double-flowered lacecaps.

Here is Edgy Orbits (Harbits):

Other options are Star Gazer (bi-colored and double-flowered), You-Me Romance (double-flowered), etc.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I'll see which ones are available to special order.
Thanks again.
