The last few months we see multiple silverfish crawling across our tile at night and it appears to be getting worse. Last night my wife counted 16. IÂd like to not use chemical insecticides indoors. Is there anything that is effective against them?

I looked online and saw the Safer Ant and Crawling Insect Killer, which appears to be some sort of baited DE. Is this effective? IÂd like to apply it along the caulk line where the tile meets the wall, but not sure if a white powder would be a good option, especially with the dog likely to track through it.

Ideally it would be something colorless/odorless, something that can be applied outside that will deter them from coming inside, or something that can be applied in an out of sight area. Any ideas?
