Alright, I wasn't going to post this but I changed my mind after I had posted. This pretty much sums up my feelings about the return of Spring and yes I have done this myself now that the garden's weeded.

P.S. It's a lemur from that trip to the Zoo.

Wonderful reticulatas. Do you have their names?

Thank-you iris gal. I was hesitant to label them because it's been a long time since I planted them and when I did I didn't know the value of names.

They're all from mart's so they could be anything. The purples were in several mixed reticulata bags of something like 75 bulbs each. I had hundreds of blooms the first Spring but all have dwindled away to a few small clusters (not even clumps).

I did plant a few bags marked as 'Harmony' in the area that the blue bloomed, but I wouldn't say that's what it is with any certainty. As long as you've been here I'm sure you know, but maybe others don't, the yellow is i. danfordiae. I really love the green speckles and style arms.

I was especially taken with the viol-purp first one. Isn't that strange they have dwindled. Critters? Slow drainage?

Great photos as usual - you've certainly become expert with your camera. Thanks.

Great pictures. Iris reticula are one of my favorite harbingers of spring.

Especially love the color of the first one, but they are all beautiful. As soon as I can, looking forward to looking at your zoo pictures. I haven't been there in about 25 years. That lemur sure looks happy!
