Gawd I love it when that happens. I look for it when I buy, but very few growers list the number of buds or socketing.

Great picture, such a lovely color. So great when an iris pair wonderful color with performance.

That really is a bonus - beauty and productivity in one iris !!

Could you tell me where you purchased Lavender Luck? I have an iris that I think is like that. It is an older iris. Quaker Lady. I looked at a lot of websites today and couldn't find that particular iris.

Thanks

Hi Jwiist,

I bought it at a now defunct iris garden. I've forgotten its intro year - can look it up at home if you want.

Hi,
Thanks,
I appreciate the information but I would like to find a place to order it.

Either my iris is wrong or the pictures at other sites are wrong and I have a sinking feeling it's mine. After all these years. The beard on mine is only yellow very deep in the throat. I apologize.

The true Lavender Luck is by Ernst'88.

Hey Irisgal, I was scoping the Blue J Iris website, and I think I might've found your iris! Take a look at FRENCH FRIEND. Looks a lot like it!!

Beth ~ it looks just the same! I can even see the tiniest bit of yellow deep in the throat. Thank you.

I need to notify the gal at the new iris garden who bought the same one from the same source as I and has it labeled incorrectly like mine! Lord only knows how many people have the wrong Lav. Luck.

I really really like this color, it's so romantic.
