Indoor Iris Care

I had iris versicolor in my pond last year and when I shut it down I decided to try to over winter all my Marginal in my garage (Pond freezes solid) So after a few months they all began to grow again but its all very leggy growth.
The iris bulb had some greener to it and I thought I could try to grow it inside for the time being. So I got it out of its previous pot and put it in another pot with new soil and everything. It now is in my room were It gets about 4-5 hours of direct sunlight usually..... But I honestly don't have a clue on how to take care of it.... Is this even doing okay? Its been inside for about a week

When I looked it up iris versicolor is listed as being hardy to zone 2, -50 degrees F. It needs a dormancy period.

I would contact an iris nursery that sells it and ask for advice at this point.

And I can't contact any nursery as the majority are all closed and I try sending them an email but they never reply....:\

Should I just put them back inside my garage untill I can plant them out side?
Or would that kill them?

Yes, I would get them out of the house environment and into the garage.
