Today I'm brushing away the displaced & blown in dirt from the new growth - down to the white. Now maybe I'll have a good bloom year. The poor darlin's became too far underground during the winter and I didn't have enough sense to know it... I'm finding new grandchildren I never knew I had....like an archealogical dig... And another thing-when pulling dead leaves, pull down not up-you could dislodge the newest plantings, especially the littler rhizomes. I'm ready to hear any other advice from y'all! Irisval
