Hi - I'm looking for some Japanese maple suggestions for a space within our driveway.. essentially it's an egg shaped area creating separation between the driveway and sidewalk. It's 10 feet long and a little over 6 feet wide at it's widest (but it slopes to a "point"). I have pictures if I can figure out how to post them here.

Could I fit a JM here? I know most of them are slow growers, so it's not likely to be a problem for many years, but I don't want to plant something that will eventually be a problem.

Any suggestions, or should I try something different? I like the green weeping varieties -- Waterfall is quite nice, but I'm concerned that it will eventually be too big for the space and overwhelm it. I'm also considering an upright like Sharp's Pygmy.
