too much vegetation

My iris (Dutch and Louisiana) and daffodils produce amazing vegetation (maybe over 4' long) and the flower stalks are excessively long also. In fact that goes for most things that I grow. I assume that I must have too much potassium but don't know how to balance it.

Many Louisiana irises grow over four feet tall. I have never seen a daffodil that tall, though :) If the flower stalks don't fall over, I don't think they are too tall.
