I love the broken colour irises but they are always the first iris to rot in my garden. Bewilderbeast is a strong grower for me but this year it also shows signs of rot. Grape snakez and Autumn years did not survive our winter (although it was a relatively mild but wet winter here in Germany).

'Bewilderbeast' has been a slow grower in my garden. I've had it as long as 'Finalist' (5-6 years) and 'Bewilderbeast' will have two stalks this year.

I don't grow the other's but I saw 'Gnus Flash' at a show on the west coast of Michigan a few years back that really impressed me. That would lead me to believe that it has grown well for that gardener in a climate similar to mine.
