Leave them alone until you see new growth then you can trim off the damaged leaves. The will come back just dont get cut happy yet.

Another 3 inches of wet snow on Sunday and woke up to a thick sheet of ice Monday morning...everything was iced over...trees weighed down...power out....my poor plants.

I have several SDB iris that were just new to me last year get frosted many times this spring too after having warm weather in March. Some have brown limp leaves and mushy tubers. I am assuming they are done although the odd one has some tiny green shoots still coming out.We have had really dry weather so I really didn't think they would rot. But I guess frozen is frozen. Oddly some looked worse after I fianlly watered them. Would this have hurt at all?
The established ones I have look fine thank goodness. I will have to reorder some and hope we don't get this kind of spring next year.
