Hydrangea Help - Please!

I bought a hydrangea at Trader Joe's the other day. I'm sure the experts out there are laughing but I'm new to gardening and love hydrangeas but have never had luck with them so when I saw that they were only $6 I figured at least it wasn't too much of a financial risk! Of course, it didn't even have a tag on it so I'm not sure what kind. It is pretty small though and has small pink flowers and big green leaves.

I've potted it in a container and placed it on the northern wall in our courtyard. It gets a few hours of morning sun and then shade the rest of the day. For a few days I've noticed that the flowers slowly wilt during the day. Then I water it in the evening and by morning the flowers look good again but by early afternoon everything looks droopy again.

Too much watering? Not enough? Too much sun? Not enough? I'd love any suggestions or hints on how to keep this little plant alive! Thanks.
