not one bloom!!!

So, last year all my bearded iris bloomed. This year, I have beautiful foliage, and not one bloom. My siberian iris foliage is up, but I see no signs of blooms on them. What could have happened??

I'm confused. You have no bloom on your bearded irises? Or is it your Sibs that aren't blooming? Or both?

I am in Zone 7 like you. A lot of people around here mow their iris down fairly soon after bloom. If you mowed yours and the increase did not have time to get to bloom size they will skip a year blooming.

Siberian iris put up a good lot of foliage before they even show sign of buds. They bloom later than Bearded irises. Maybe yours aren't quite ready yet?

No, I didn't mow them. Neither the bearded nor the siberian are blooming. Such a bummer. I'll check out the FAQ section- thanks
