I'm not totally sure if this is the right forum for this, but it's the closest I can find. I was reading a book that mentioned that the piths of the Japanese Rose were carved into small buds and birds and floated in cups of sake. A google search turned up nothing. Does anyone know anything about this or where I can find out more?
