SDB iris pics

A few of my SDB iris are blooming. I see buds on several TB, though, & a couple have color so should bloom very soon. Of course, we're supposed to get a major storm Monday, I think.

A nice clump of Boo

I think this is Michael Paul, but I have another iris that is almost like it & can't remember which one this is.

A bad picture of Crimson King, the wind was blowing

Hard to believe I just cleaned these beds up a few days ago, look at all the weeds

Boo is amazing.
Crimson King sure is a bloomer, isn't it?

Then it is Crimson King in my garden!!

Nice dwarfs! Do you have Pippi Longstockings? Saw her a few years ago and tried ~~ winter too warm for these guys.

I've had Boo for quite a while, it does like to put on a show. Crimson King is an oldie, doesn't have really huge flowers but I do like how early it is.
Daughter of Stars bloomed today & has several more bloom stalks, & I have a yellow that bloomed today. I meant to take pictures, but didn't get around to it. Last year Daughter of star bloomed Apr 22, looks like everything is even earlier this year. I thought things were early last year.
iris gal, I don't have Pippi, although I have Jazzmatazz that is similar. It had a bloom today, but I forgot to get a picture of that one.
I have about a dozen of the SDB iris, I do think they are cute. Boo just seems to be the best one I have though.

Those are really pretty. I especially like Serenity Prayer...it reminds me of an orchid.

I don't believe that one is 'Michael Paul'. 'Michael Paul' is bluer and quite a bit darker - see photo at the bottom of the linked page.

You are quite right, I even felt that when I was taking the picture. Michael Paul bloomed over a week after I took this picture. Not sure where this one even came from.
