I am not sure where we got to with the digital vs film question but with a digital camera you can adjust the temperature of the light (white balance) provided there is enough light in the first place. If you are talking about carrying off camera lights this is way more complicated and may not even be allowed in some buildings.

In some public buildings it is allowed, and in others you just have to ask. In a private building you always have to ask. I don't see that being much of a hurdle.

And Yes - I agree - it might be a little complicated. That's why I posted this tread. Does anyone have experience with blue lights?

I talked to a pro last week and he said blue lights would do wonders with interior shots. One problem for me is that my "decent" digital camera doesn't have an external flash option.

As I have said elsewhere, you should learn to walk before you run. You should buy a tripod before any extra lighting, learn what light is and how to use all the functions on your camera. Perhaps it would help to look at pictures taken by those who understand this stuff but used basic equipment.
