Oh such a wonderful day! My daughter and I went to a local garden that has about 500 TB Iris, a few IB, La Iris, Fox Gloves galore, huge beautiful poppies, Larkspur, Clematis and so many others that I can't even remember. This is all a display garden with not a row of anything. It is more of a cottage garden feel yet with all the names of the plants and she sales Iris and daylilies. It took us 3 hours to tour about a 3 acre garden because of all the different varities and all the drooling. It's set on a private lake with huge trees all around. I haven't had this much fun in ages.

When we got home I was walking in my gardens and finally!!!New Growth on my frozen dead looking Crepe Myrtles, Japanese Maples and Redbud Trees. I'm just plum giddy with relief that they are all putting out new growth. I give all the Glory to God for his mercy and I sure pray that everyone will have the same recovery after our terrible April weather.
