:) Don, send Hoichi Kurisu an email per my recommendation if you wish, and ask him about his nurseries and his current availability, as he has nurseries on both coasts, which are pre-trained for the gardens.
(Response may not be immediate as he travels extensively, and I could also forward his assistants email/numbers in that event.)
The pine are shaped with 2 or more fronts and need last adjustments for the specific locations... you'll know what to do...

Keith, did you find your Japanese black pine? Our new yardman severely pruned (sculpted) 3 of our japanese black pines and one of our Thunderhead dwarf pines and we must replace them. The house is on Lake Conroe north of our home in Houston. We are still in shock and would be very grateful for any suggestions on a quality nursery that carries them.
