I hope someone can help me. I planted a climbing hydrangea on a north facing brick wall a year ago this past spring. I got a good amount of growth this year. All of a sudden a good portion of this growth is no longer clinging to the wall!! I don't know what happened. My landscaper did some trimming of shrubs nearby and I think he may have pulled the vine down off the wall. Should I trim it back to wear it's still clinging? Will it ever reattach itself? Thanks.
