The pictures are very large for my screen anyway but they look like historical irises. Have you tried the HIPS, Historical Iris Presservation, site for identification?

Yves Lassailly, Cayeux, 1928 is a possibility for the white. Haven't found the other.

Try "Flavescens" for the whitish one!

I think you first pi c is Eldorado. Looks pretty close.

These are all tall bearded irises, 'historic' varieties. The bulbs are called rhizomes. Here's a link to the Historic Iris Preservation Society, which has photos for you to look at to see if any look the same. Sometimes it is almost impossible to get a name for each cultivar, but sometimes we get lucky!

Thats I'm checking out HIPS - could be Flavescens and El Dorado!

I don't think your mystery iris are Flavescens or Eldorado, though they look similar. The lavender one has form that looks to me like a newer iris than Eldorado, maybe 1920s or 30s instead of 1910s. The lighter colored one is definitely an oldie, though not necessarily as old as Flavescens - could be anything up to the 1910s.

Sorry, I don't have alternative name suggestions, but thanks for preserving older iris, even if you haven't figured out who they are yet!
