You have such pretty purples. I have Aristocracy too and it is a beauty. I am sorry to see your iris season winding down, your iris have looked truely amazing this year.

Iris_gal, thank you. This is the first year I have had Aristocracy. It has held it's color to perfection and it is in full sun all day with temps near 90. I never have any iris that don't stay true to their color. Daylilies yer, but not my iris.

Mr. Toad. My first iris bloomed on May 5th. Today, I counted and I have only 24 still blooming. They are spread out over three rather large beds. This is the longest bloom period I have had with iris.

I am having yet another senior moment. April 5th. And about 20 of them are still blooming. I have decided on about ten that i will be replacing. And that is an exciting thing to me.
