You emailed me about a trade. I'm sorry I can't help with an ID, but I have the first 2 iris in your pictures myself, so they must be hardy!

Jennifer

I have one similar to the first pic-Christabel

The Last one is an DeForest '42 introduction, Tiffanja. A real oldie as are the others.

The first one is definitely NOT Christabel. Most lilely it is INDIAN CHIEF. I can see the characteristic IC netting pattern on the standards.
The third one is TIFFANJA.

I was thinking the first one might be Dauntless

I am by no means an expert, but if I were you I wouldn't take the id of the third as factual.

I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm saying I wouldn't considerate it certain.

I've got one that I think looks very similar to yours that I've been told is most likely a seedling. We had only purples for 20+ years and suddenly this yellow popped up in the lawn near the bed.

This story is becoming longer than I think I should write so in short: No-one's been able to id this one for me yet, and I think it looks alot like yours which seems it's been (almost) too easily id-ed.

I hope I make some sense.

P.S. I'm sorry I've taken so long to chime in but I'm starting at the last post I read before I lost track of the forum. So I'm working from page 8 back up to date. :)

I am also new to the Iris family and have ordered the free catalogs from all bulb companys. They have splendid pictures in then and help in identifying what you have.

Just a suggestion,
