Opps! Forgot RIO ROJO! It really is a star trooper in my garden. Depends on the light. Can look more like the first picture but usually darker like the second one.

So glad to see your iris are starting up for you Rita! You know I love Rio Rojo! I was so impressed with how it looked in my garden this season. Visiting Royalty really stands out with that orange beard. I can see a lot getting ready to bloom in that first shot. I'm sure I've already whined enough about it, I'm still sulking because my Dutch iris didn't bloom this year. I think I'm going to get more to plant this year for spring.

Ahhh- my favorite iris! Rio Rojo is gorgeous. That first photo with the grassy path is just lovely.
