If I'd be allowed to have one and only mophead I'd be hard pressed to chose between a real Nikko (not a Nikko-types) and Preziosa.
Being of serrata parentage it's a reliable bloomer for me, have interesting spring and great fall colored foliage and stays pink even in my 5.4-5.8pH soil where everything else become blue in just couple of years.
Beside all that it has an excellent aging pattern which makes it even more interesting as its blooms are ever in transition.
Just to show Preziosa's flowers in transition during one month. They start as a greenish white, become almost pure white and fast transitioning to a baby pink,

then to...

...and then to...
7/28
...and in another two-three weeks it will be burgundy and stay like that till October when it become russet.
